Sedona Plein Air invitational

Sedona Mill
I'm pleased to be invited to participate in the 6th annual Sedona Arts Center Plein Air Invitational this October 23-30, 2010.

I am one of 32 artists chosen from across the country to paint in this beautiful area. Sedona and Oak Creek Canyon are well known for their vivid color and unique landscape. There are many great trails and rivers to explore and I have looked forward to painting in this event since my visit three years ago when I painted this image shown here. In addition to the plein-air works I will create during the event, I will have more paintings for sale at the Sedona Arts Center. For more info on this great event or the Art Center, please visit: www.sedonapleinairfestival.com

2010 Carmel Art Festival

altGreat news! Once again, I have been juried into the Carmel Art Festival which is being held on May 13-16, 2010.

Carmel is one of my favorite painting locations and in last year's event, I received an honorable mention for my painting "Dancing Sycamores". In addition to the scheduled plein air event, I will be having featured show at Gibson Galleries which will include many of my recent paintings. More info on this as things develop...
